Fields of Hope

Ok so this is a song I've loved since the first time I heard it. It's slow and has a really sad tune. Which is surprising that I like it since mostly all I listen to is rock or techno ^-^ Well, kind of. I listen to sad songs too, but not as often. Anyways, I first heard it while at my old best friend's house back in California. We were watching this series that she just bought, when suddenly the song came on. Immediately, I jumped up, pointed at the screen and was like "I MUST HAVE THIS SONG!!!!" Lol, it freaked her out a bit but that's ok. She's used to my loud, unexplained outbursts xD So eventually I got it and I began to practice singing it. Not to be all snooty and braggy or anything, but I think I sing it very well. Lol my friend, who tried to sing it with me once, says I sound just like the original singer. I wouldn't go that far, but I think I'm all right. Ok, enough rambling, here's the song lyrics. The Last Blog

Wow...so this is the last blog for creative writing. It makes me a little sad, and yet I'm so happy too! Lol anyways for this blog I decided to leave you guys a song I recently discovered, but loved the lyrics instantly. You may not know the artist but it's okay, enjoy anyways :)

GAAAAHHHH!!!! THE STRESS!!!!!!!!

Okay so this is only the beginning of the week and already I feel so stressed out! I have binder/notebook stuff to do for my Spanish, I have a Pre-Calc test to study for, I have this play thingy for creative writing to finish, and I have physics to worry about. I know it may not sound like much but I really want to keep my grades the way they are right now, maybe even raise them up a bit. But if I mess up in any way my grades will go down and I really don't want that. I think I'm putting too much thought into this but I don't want to leave school with bad grades. To other people my grades are fine, but to me they're not. I can't help it if I think that though, it's always been that way with me. The only thing that calms me down right now is my music. I recently got some new songs and I listen to my ipod constantly, so that I don't start hyperventilating and panicking. Lol, I probably wouldn't go that far, but I'd still worry my ass off. But yeah, my music always calms me down no matter what :) Oh, and I write, too. That helps me to calm down also. Which reminds me, I need to get back to my story. Argh, I'm getting distracted ^^'' Heh, sorry about the rant peoples, but I just wanted to get this all off my chest. And hey, it makes a semi-interesting blog right? xD

Clear was the sky and the sun had begun to set
But for reasons that I do not understand
You were taken away
I no longer held your hand

A Life To Live

Author's note: Yea...I really don't like this poem very much. I mean I only worked on it for like ten minutes and then was like "Hey! I know, let's post this up on blogger!" :D This is also kind of weird because to me it seems like this poem has no feeling whatsoever. Usually my poems have like some emotion I want the reader to feel, although it may not be noticeable at times, but this one seems like it's just there. There's nothing. Nada. Zip. Lol I'm just rambling now, but I think you guys get what I'm saying. Besides, I don't think anyone is even going to read this little...okay maybe not so little paragraph at the beginning. Most people would just head straight for the poem. To be honest, I would too. I'd probably think, 'Oh Lord some ramblings from a crazy person >.>' Okay. I'm gonna stop now. Here's the poem. Sorry it took so long.


A Life To Live
Today I sleep
Tomorrow I wake
Another day passes me by
The routine of life
